Elevate Your Game with Elite Mentorship

It started at a youth hockey tournament in Pittsburgh, where I was coaching and noticed a player on the opposing team wearing a Savannah Jr. Ghost Pirates logo on his helmet. Since I play for the Savannah Ghost Pirates, it immediately caught my attention, and I remember thinking, “What are the odds?”

After the game, I introduced myself to him and his family, and a few days later his dad, Matt, reached out to ask if I would be willing to mentor his son. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something much more meaningful.

We began meeting virtually every few weeks, talking about hockey, confidence, mindset, habits, and the challenges that come with developing both on and off the ice. Over time, those conversations became about more than just sports. They became a source of guidance, accountability, and support during some of the most important years of a young athlete’s life.

As time went on, Matt saw how valuable mentorship could truly be for young players, and together we realized this experience should not be limited to just one athlete. That realization became the foundation for Pro Mentor Me, a platform designed to connect young athletes with mentors who have played the game, faced adversity, and lived the journey themselves.

Because every athlete deserves someone in their corner who understands what they are going through and can help guide them toward where they want to be.

This is just the beginning.
